This year, as in 2009, our winery will  participant and present our wines at the Food and Wine Fair (Fodevaremarked) which will take place in Svendborg, Denmark on the 26th and 27th of June 2010. This annual fair, the largest of its kind in Denmark, is located in the port section of Svendborg on the island of Fyn.

Pelter Winery Wines Tasting

The lifestyle periodical "Wine Spectator" focuses on fine wines and wine culture. It is considered one of the main authorities in the world of wines and wines reviewed by the journal, are considered amongst the world's most outstanding. Five Pelter wines were recently tasted and reviewed in the December 2009 edition of the journal. All were awarded high marks and described in very positive tasting notes.

Whatever winemaker Tal Pelter is doing, he seems to be doing it just fine!
The winery, one of only four in the country to produce a sparkling wine, releases wines in two series: T-Selection and Pelter.
Pelter most definitely earns its place as one of the 10 best wineries in Israel.

In his latest edition (2010) of Rogov's Guide to Israeli Wines, Mr. Daniel Rogov, Israel's most influential and pre-eminent wine critic, awarded five stars to Pelter Winery. Five stars constitute the highest rating awarded by Mr. Rogov and represent "A world-class winery, regularly producing excellent wines".

After tasting at most of Israel's best wineries and/or meeting with nearly all the top producers in February-March, 2008, not to mention almost falling off the top of Mt. Shiffon and visiting Syria inadvertently, I can say that Israel, as an emerging region, has put itself on the map...
